Email CMS | Knak
Knak is an online email campaign creation platform, that allows teams to build responsive emails and immediately export a developed HTML directly from the platform. The platform allows to either place global assets that respond, or specific mobile/desktop assets that be toggled to only show up on their respective device. We use this feature frequently when it comes to headers, images, and charts.
Knak, like FIGMA, has its own built-in module/asset library that allows all "builders" to access modules, images, and templates that have been created. While not as streamlined and effective as FIGMA's library, we can achieve version control and centralize global updates on the most important global modules. This allows us to update them once and push them across all applicable emails.
Using similar best practices that we would in FIGMA, we are able to closely mirror our process outside the platform, however here we are able to immediately view desktop and mobile states. This allows us to quickly trouble shoot any issues before it goes through QA process. Knak effectively slashes hours when it comes to build, development and review, allowing for a significantly expedited email process.
